We were out of town buyers, he patiently showed us around town, highlighted pros and cons of different neighborhoods. We looked at many potential homes, which was difficult task in a tight market. When we were back at home, he visited some potential homes and we had very informative remote walk throughs. He highlighted not only the pros, but also the cons, especially mechanical issues with older houses. Once we eventually found our home, he negotiated the sale effectively, we had a signed contract in a few hours. He kept investigating the possible issues, HOA rules, solutions and arranged for us a remote closing. Once we had the home and we were still at our old place, he arranged floor work, complete painting of the house. He took care of items that needed to be fixed, so once we moved in, we had a "new" home. He was very helpful for us, highly recommend his services.

We were first-time homebuyers, both of us busy professionals with a lot on our plates as we settled into new jobs. John was recommended to us by a friend who had used his services. John made the transition and first time buying experience seamless! First, he rented us a house, at a great price, in a quiet, safe neighborhood so we could take a few months to get to know Grand Junction and explore its neighborhoods. The rental was month by month so we could move as soon as we were ready to buy. We found John to be a great listener, with a special capacity for taking our wants and needs and translating them into a range of real housing options. His home tours were concise, but with appropriate attention to detail and explanation when needed. As first time buyers we appreciated his patience and ability to explain the sometimes confusing areas of the real estate world. When we finally found that special house, he got us a great price with extra purchase incentives thrown in. After the sale, he stayed in contact, helped arrange some home maintenance tasks, and made sure that we were settling in. John is well-connected with movers, landscapers, and handymen, and we have always been satisfied with the work of the people that he recommended. And we are return customers. In 2021, after 10 years at that residence, we decided to move in from The Redlands to a more central location, John showed himself to be adept in the crazy, pandemic-driven "point-and-shoot" housing market as well. We had a house in less than a week, and have been extremely happy in our new place. John negotiated great prices all the way around. Once again, he has stayed in contact and helped us with a number of details to complete the move. I expect to be in this home for years to come, but if we ever move in the area again we will certainly be asking John to be our realtor."
